Manual Scavenging
It is a banned practice that is still around,
And, that enough, should (more than) astound,
But there ought to be ACTION and common ground,
Putting an end to something so inhumane shouldn't confound.
It’s an evil that all of society is better off
without,
Lives of thousands needlessly put at stake isn’t
trivial, no doubt.
So, concrete steps, by those in power, should be taken
throughout,
To let the very necessary changes be brought about!
And then, finally, why not do what should have been
done long before,
And kill the profession before it kills any more!
